We are a small video game studio founded in Illinois, USA, in 2014 by two brothers, Paulo Lara and Pavel Lara.
We've been playing games for as long as we can remember. After a couple of years toying around with making small games back when we lived in the Dominican Republic, and inspired by the same ones we've enjoyed all those years, we started to work on creating Galla Games in 2012 to bring our ideas to reality.
Our project, "Kulebra and the Souls of Limbo" has gone through many iterations. We started knowing little of what it's required to carry out a project like this, but over time we've been getting better at managing ourselves and learning the tools needed to accomplish.
Our game design philosophy is to first come up with characters and a setting, and from there, develop a gameplay style that best compliments the story we are trying to tell while still being fun to play by itself. The gameplay and the world it takes place in are equally important, and we put a lot of effort into the presentation and details to make sure the game is as immersive and polished as it can be.
While we prefer to polish our work before sending it to the public, we're also open to talk about our development process and the current state of projects. Quality in presentation is very important to us, but we know that it takes time and many mistakes to get something great.
